About Year – 4 Class
Year 4 at Forth International School is tailored for learners aged 9 years and above who have completed Year 3 or its equivalent. At this stage, students move into more in-depth learning and are encouraged to take greater ownership of their academic growth.
The Year 4 curriculum is robust, interdisciplinary, and aligned with national and international standards. It helps learners deepen their understanding of core subjects while developing key life skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and responsibility.
Subjects offered include:
English Language: Advanced reading comprehension, grammar, essay writing, and vocabulary building
Mathematics: Multi-digit operations, fractions, decimals, basic algebra, and word problems
Basic Science and Technology
Social Studies, Civic and Moral Instruction
Cultural and Creative Arts and Physical and Health Education

Admission into the Pre-Nursery Class requires that the child:
- Has successfully completed Year 3 or an equivalent class in a recognized school
- A copy of the birth certificate or age declaration
- Two or more recent passport photographs
- Academic report or transfer record from the previous school
