About Year – 2 Class
Our Year 2 Class at Forth International School is designed for children aged 7 years and above who are building on the foundational skills acquired in Year 1. It offers a supportive, enriching environment where pupils continue their academic and personal development through structured learning and creative exploration.
In Year 2, learners strengthen their abilities in key subject areas such as:
English Language: Grammar, reading fluency, comprehension, and guided writing
Mathematics: Number operations, patterns, measurements, and problem-solving
Basic Science and Technology
Civic, Moral, and Religious Education
Cultural and Creative Arts, Physical and Health Education
The curriculum is designed to nurture critical thinking, curiosity, responsibility, and confidence, preparing pupils for higher primary levels. Lessons are interactive and engaging, supported by qualified and passionate teachers who monitor each child’s progress.
Admission into the Year -2 Class requires that the child:
- Has completed Year 1 or an equivalent level in a recognized school
- A birth certificate or proof of age
- Passport-sized photographs
- Academic records or progress reports from the previous school
